DRCCC Membership Fees - Final Notice

Please Note.

The next race day on 28th Feb will be the final day for unpaid membership fees to be paid. After the 28th there will be no exceptions made unless you show up with your fees in hand. If you haven't paid your membership you will not be able to race. This is a condition set by Diaz, and they have been leanient enough, lets not piss off the hand that feeds us. Let me put it this way, we will not piss them off, so if you haven't paid, be prepared to be pissed off when you are turned away.

Sorry to those who are offended, but enough is enough, and it's not fair to the paid up members.

On a lighter note, apparently the swipe cards (bar cards for some , or should I say "lounge cards" ) have been done. I will pick them up from Danie this week to hand out to the members next race day. You can thank me later ototw.

It sounds tough but it is unfortunately out of our hands. It will be sad if we loose numbers because of this but those were the rules from day one.
I will send some mails out to those who don't read the forum so that there are no surprises come next raceday. Some of our normal racers did not show this weekend due to the bad weather but we still had close to 40 entries. I will try to send them notices asap.

From my side,the guys who want to be part of the club should just hop along let we all carry on,its great to have so many TT01 on the track! Any club,whether its fitness or golf ,fishing,pigeon shooting,4x4 mountaineering,ballroom dancing,well I mentioned all what I did in the past,DIAZ RCCCC, r by FLYING COLOURS the better call,so just do it.

Just "bite the bullet" so to speak.

we always had a thing to introduce new guys to the sport so they can see if they like it or not. I dont think R20 is a lot even for a newbie to spend. From my side what I will do from now on, if I sell someone a car, I will give them one free race to "test the water" so to speak.

i think that is a great idea and a good way to promote the sport.

We don't and haven't had a problem with first time newbies, they are not the target market. The target market are the guys who spend and spend and spend on rc equipment like there's no tomorrow , but can't afford to pay club fees. Stop buying all the unneccesary hopups and pay up where it matters.

just be open minded,good point senseless spending hop-ups and the club suffers!!!

@ray - did you send out that mail yet to all that haven't paid yet. Don't forget the non regulars as well.

I dont have a lot of those guys numbers or contact details. Bummer hey...I will see the guys as they come into the shop

Well, they going to be pleasantly surprised if they don't turn up with their dosh in hand.

Maybe send out generic sms, I'm sure the word will spread.
