Drifting Notice

Post  dt_insane on Wed Apr 08, 2009 9:20 am

Hi Guys

We have some rc drifting this coming thursday at 19:00 at Scribante. It will be held in the pit area in one of the "halls" so will be under roof and if the weather is bad, we will be fine.
Hope to see you all there. The organisers want us to race a rc car against a real car so if someone has a quick car they want to show off, Thursday will be your opportunity.

sounds awsome guys lets sapport this... king

Rules and styles

Post  dt_insane on Fri Jul 03, 2009 11:54 am

Good morning all fellow drifters cheers

I think that it is important that at the next drift practice evening we hold a little drift off event between the guys that come and practice in order for everyone to get a feel for what it is about as well as get used to the rules and judging system we use.

I would like each and every one of the guys to be on the same page for the Next comp as it will be a national event. where not only us local guys will attend but also some of the best drifters in the country.

There will be a split line up and classes will be set up accordingly to cater for all levels of drifting.

So lets get prepared so when we do the comp we take the country by storm Smile

i think we should have one or two local events first before having a national, gotta sort out judging and get everyone used to competing

drifting is a art and a lot of skill is required. Most guys that drift can race but it's not the case other way around. I also said, why make a perfectly good car handle like crap but it is not the case at all. As much setting up goes into a drift car, if not more.
Last night was awesome, I left early but understand the guys were there till after 12? cyclops
