Hi guys. Went passed the track today and have to say it is pretty bad shape with the construction all around it and the amount of dust on the track. We have a chance of getting the track clean if enough of us come and help. Can we ask everyone who can to come and help to clean Saturday at 3pm. We have 4 brooms and a blower so should be sorted if enough hands show.

Please watch this space Saturday night to see if racing was called off. If the racing gets canceled we will race again in 2 weeks ...

Hi guys!

Well I really enjoyed the wet weather racing on Sunday, although I do agree its probably not the best for the cars. I was just thinking what if we made the cars compatible for wet weather racing? like having wheel arches made up so they stop the tyres from throwing up water into the chassis? thats the only reason I can see why the chassis gets wet inside the car. Are there such things as RC rain tyres?

here is what i learnt everything i know about the silver can motors, but at the end of the day, nothing can beat a good setup and a consistent driver, its not all about the motor like a lot of people think, if you wanna win races first start by getting your lap times consistent, it doesn't matter if that means go slower, get consistency then work from there, next thing is your car setup, make sure your car is perfect, and very importantly on weight.

think of it this way, for every 1gram saved ...

30.9.3. Lithium-Polymer (LiPo) batteries

Lithium polymer is the newest battery type. They have up to four times the battery capacity of nicad batteries, but they are very fragile. They contain lithium which is a metal which ignites on contact with air, so if the battery balloons and the covering pops or the covering of the battery is punctured, it will ignite and explode.

LiPo batteries can be charged at a maximum rate of 1C.

LiPo batteries are very sensitive to overcharging. They ...

As you all should know by now, our first raceday is on Sunday 18th, if not, you do now. It's been a long time coming and we are all excited it's finally arrived. It's been a long hard road with all the work parties, still a bit to do before it's 100%, but we're there.

We are going to have a bumper year with 24 events, it must be the biggest event count in the country compared to other clubs, so we are going to have plenty of fun and exitement all year long. Be there or be square.
