General Motors confirms sale of Saab to Koenigsegg

Today, General Motors confirmed an agreement on the sale of its subsidiary Saab to fellow Swedish company and sports-car maker Koenigsegg Automotive AB. GM announced that the closure of the transaction was expected by the end of the year and was able to secure Saab's future. The US car group had incurred heavy losses with Saab.
