1:5th Scale On Road Worlds Prep Pics @ TRAP - Updated 4/4/09

Hi Guys

Here are some pics of the prep work being done at trap for the 1/5th scale worlds to be hosted there.

New pot holes to slow the cars down in the pit lane. LOL


Destruction and construction of the driver stand...was moved back by 2 meters to allow for better view of pit lane entry and to allow for wider pit lane.

New dates for Pre worlds events will now be combined with the only international event on the African continent
know as the African Cup 2009(all held at TRAP)
1) Pre Worlds and African Cup 1/10 EP Off Road event 6th August till the 9th August
2) Pre Worlds and African Cup 200mm~1/8th and 1/5th GP On Road event 16th July till 19th July...has entry's from Australia already for this one

A) IFMAR Worlds event 1/5th GP On Road Event 24th September till 3rd October
B) IFMAR Worlds event 1/10 EP Off Road Event 4th till 11th October

that is more work than it looks since the pit area will have to be moved too. Bummer, lots of bucks being spent there i can assure you

Plenty of bucks, but just imagine how much they are going to get out of it. All worth the effort in the end.

Will Stan be entering for this event, seeing as though he raced 1/5th pro in the UK????

i know stan qualified to go but dont know if he will be attending. Awesome venue and a lot of effort going into it.

Quite the contrary, he asked me to post on different forums to get the hype up as he wasn't registered on that many. I have sent him 2 more mails which he has read but still nothing, so I don't know????

they must be very busy with prep work and organising things. Glad I am not them but we have some organising of our own to do.

No Shait Shirlock!! We will need some hands to help though.
