flying chat - - -

Post  dt_insane on Mon Mar 09, 2009 1:52 pm

well after my crash this week end right into the side of the mountain drunken
it may be a while till i have found all the pieces and put the plane back together... affraid

was funny as hell, not to mention Fusion's little bump Smile proving lipos are perfectly safe for use in a high speed aircraft crash Smile Twisted Evil

not bad for a first flight if i do say so for my self

Ya it was a lot of fun, DT went the highest and the furthest I reckon. Fusion's plane "Thud" did very well and proved that vertical landings can be done in cramped spaces.
I see the flying will get us fit as fiddles if we keep going where we are surrounded by mountain

going higher and further was not the best idea i have come up with - in future i will listen when everyone is shouting go the other way (once someone tells me which way that is) it was spectacular, would have made a great action shot indeed Smile

@fusion - dude the brushless motor is insane. cant wait to check it in action.

you getting the hang of it, just remember one thing gliders fly a bit higher than planes, you where doing fine when you where flying high but then you get bored and tried the low stuff, i have also crashed alot flying low, thats how i ripped the wings off my wing dragon

word i get what you saying, at least i learnt if you keep on the power into the wind it will level out... that is good do know.

i am going home to fix my plane at 12 charge that batteries and get your plane ready...

nice weather to fly.

my main concern with my glider is it going out of range out to see or something... or worse through the front of someones house...
