DRCCC Race Report - Race Day 10 Season 1 - Points Event - Updated Edit

Howzit All. With the penultimate race day almost cancelled due to the weather and a very wet track, the guys were very eager to get it all mopped up and ready for action. Thanks to all those who helped with track prep, and to Phillip who brought his big vacuum for the bigger puddles, so that we could have another awesome days racing. Ray was also very eager to test out the clubs new AMB system which was setup prior in the week, that meant even waiting until late afternoon for the weather to break to host a mini enduro to check it out. But we were fortunate enough to get started not too long after normal starting time, with 33 racers entering a whopping 45 cars.

5. Raymond - 6 - DNF

As can be seen from these results, it was very tight racing in the slower classes as they seemed to manage better with the lower grip factor of the day. All in all a very good days racing was had by all, and the new AMB system made race control a whole lot easier to manage and worked well without any glitches.

Our final race day in the season will be held on the 7th June, come prepared as I'm sure everyone will be there to get the last available points up for grabs for the championship standings. Two weeks after that we will have a prizegiving and fun day to close off the season, this will be conveyed to you at the next race day and will also be posted here once things have been finalised. Also it looks positive for the track resurfacing to be done in about 3 weeks time, hold thumbs the weather plays along. Help will be needed on those days so please keep it in mind to come lend a hand when it happens.

Till next time, cheers.
