DRCCC Race Report - Race Day 3 Season 2 - Points Event

With what promised to be a stunning day of racing turned out to be an awesome event, the sun up high, cool breeze from the east, and the racers all ready to put the pedal to the mettle. With Ray being away attending the cup finals, I was faced with the daunting task of running the event alone, but after all was set up and the final entries in, it was plain sailing. Thanks to those that lent a hand with race control for the starts so that we could run them staggered, the way we like it.

We had 37 racers entering a solid 52 cars, nice guys, lets keep it up. We need to speak to those no shows so that we can take that tally over 60 every race day.

What a day, but a good one at that. There were some really close faught battles all through the field which made for a trully exciting days racing. Now we look forward to the 4th points event which brings us ever closer to the middle of the season. See you then.
