DRCCC Race Report - Race Day 9 Season 1 - Points Event
I'm sure Mothers Day was cancelled for this event, as there were a whopping 41 racers entering 49 cars for this humdinger of an event. Besides a stiff chilly NE'r blowing, the weather played along nicely for this action packed thriller.

There were some intense tight battles throughout all the finals as can be seen from the times posted. Well done to everybody, the racing is getting alot cleaner as time goes on, and I'm sure not long from now the guys will be so competitive that they wont want to go near another car in fear of losing their position on track. Thanks again to all who helped on the day.
The 10th event on our calendar will take place on the 24th May, and if you've been past the track in the last few days you would've seen that the AMB cable has been laid, so we will hopefully be running our future race days using the AMB system if all goes according to plan. Remember to ream an extra hole in the lower centre of your rc cars' windscreen to hold the transponders in place, also an extra strong body clip to hold it in place. Thanks to Raymond, Thinus, Christo & Dion for installing and testing the system.
So until next time, cheers.
