That looks brilliant! I am surprised that you are allowed such a HUGE cut-out at the back, it must really help with top speed. Brad- this boy must be quick if you were only looking at the back of his tt01 chassis? Great to have a class where anyone can win on the day.

he is quick, Brad is at home doing homework as we speak Laughing The class is very competitive and on a good day there is normally 6 or more cars that can potentially win it.

I guess that is why they used it at the nats last year in tamiya classes, if I am not mistaken. You must use every advantage you can. Big up to you. Some even spray the car like half a coat of paint, so it is that little bit lighter. I dont know if that helps, but I presume that if you reduce a lot of items a little bit each, then overall you would have a big weight loss/more aerodynamic(with legally cut-out bodies like yours), which should give you an advantage, even if you are underweight, as you can then put weight on where you want it for the best balance. Must be great for you to be running with the BIG BOYZ, I wish I could be there too. A bit too far to travel.

I am also trying to cut down on everything but I will tell you what, loosing weight is not easy and eating veggies everyday is not for me Wink

Weight loss

Post  slidewayz on Wed Sep 02, 2009 2:30 pm

Why the stuff do you think I do rc? If I raced 1:1, I would have to start a minute or 2 before everyone else or have a weight handicap -add 50kg or so to the other cars. :-) I cant eat enough veggies to get full :-)
