Re: forum suggestions
from the start of this forum and Rays RC Models web site it was said that there will be no for sale section on the forum. There is always issues with selling stuff and it was felt in order to protect the business and the reputation of the forum we would not creat a thread for sales not to be funny with any of the members but it is a discussion forum and we are trying to keep it safe for all the users that are using it.
I am sure Brad an Ray will comment here later thats just my two cents.

Re: forum suggestions
Sorry guys, we did discuss the for sale string before and it was felt that we need to keep the forum clean and user frendly rather than over load with for sales.

Re: forum suggestions
The for sale section we did not want because it sometimes creates a vibe if you get sold a lemon. We are rethinking it and I am re-considering. It might help people to get rid of unwanted kit and will prevent people wanting to sell goods trackside.
Herewith a suggestion:
If you have something you would like to sell, pm me with the details and a photo of the goods for sale. I will then publish it on the forum and people can contact me and they won't know where it came from. How does that sound?

Re: forum suggestions
Sounds brilliant and you can take a 5% cut for administration fees.

Re: forum suggestions
Glad to help to get things going. Mr Ray can maybe also post some special for us, and maybe even some of the items off the shelf. But only important stuff, no spares just bodies, tyres, remotes like the important stuff. Maybe have that in shop window in the for sales, after all it is rays forum. Its just to make it easier for us that live further away, so we wont have to phone and bug yous just to find out if you got a body in stock, and the price. For example . . . Just an idea.
